Emotional Freedom Technique To Change Habits

Emotional freedom techniques, commonly referred to as EFT and tapping, is an alternative therapy for anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and several other conditions. Tapping EFT is still being studied and used to treat people with anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). EFT originated in the 1970s when several doctors began stimulating acupuncture points to help their patients cope with stress, fears, and phobias.

People who use EFT tapping have found that body tapping can create balance in the energy system and relieve pain. In addition, EFT allows a person to release these negative emotions quickly and effectively, freeing the mind and body to create new habits, attitudes, and physical responses. Finally, EFT users claim that the touch of EFT makes them feel better quickly. EFT involves touching meridian points (similar to acupuncture or acupressure) and using a specific language.

EFT, also known as "tapping," is best described as a needle-free acupuncture treatment. According to traditional Chinese medicine, these energy points are a powerful way to restore energy flow, maintain health, and prevent imbalances. Whereas traditional acupuncture is based on traditional needles, EFT uses the touch of the fingertips to direct the body's energy circulation. This relieves any chronic stress or pain, disease, or even illness that may be caused. According to experts, this percussion technique allows you to essentially gain access to your body's energy levels compassionately. In addition, it connects you to the nerves in your brain that control stress.

Practitioners claim that touch helps you access your body's energy and sends signals to the part of the brain that controls stress. Some say that touch releases blocked energy stuck in our bodies due to trauma. It is believed that the negative energies that cause pain (physical or emotional) are interrupted by touching specific pressure points on the body. Thus the balance of the physical and emotional body is restored.

According to practitioners of EFT, touching the energy meridian points of the body with the fingertips restores the energy balance to solve physical and emotional problems. Remember THE MAIN PURPOSE - We touch the meridional points of the body when we focus/talk about the problem and the difficult feelings associated with it. Then we send a calming signal to the amygdala in the brain, which helps to reduce and release emotional tension. Take the first two fingers of your dominant hand and tap each of the meridian points 5-7 times. While doing this, you are working on the negative emotion associated with the traumatic belief or memory - this will help release the accumulated emotion from your body.

No matter what we're dealing with, a bad memory, a troubled relationship, or a moment of extreme fear, we can tap to focus on accepting and resolving negative emotions. This brings order and balance back to our bodies. Remember to take full responsibility for your own well-being, as sometimes unexpected emotions arise during touch.
